DETAILS :
Group name : SUI SEN ( no.7 )
Instructor : Ahmad

MONDAY - we got to ubin at 10. ahmad got us to stand in a circle, shoulders touching each others and we've got to stretch out our hands and grab someone else's hand to form a really messy "spiderweb" and we've got to entangle to form back our circle and at the end of it, everyone's sweaty and smelly :X

we had a ten min tour around OBS camp site ( no.1 ) and we went to our store to put our bags. grabbed our water and off we went, to learn how to pitch a tent ._. the day is sooo long, the weather was kinda bad, it rained for awhile, then we had dinner at the beach - cooked by team mates. it wasn't very good, but good enough :X

TUESDAY - woke up at 5am in the morning! it was soooo cold i was shiveringggg in my tent D: and fyi, i'm wearing my cardi man. then we had to unpitch our tent in the dark. went rock climbing. it was my first time! PS : i never climbed during the sec 2 camp, i was afraid of heights D: but ahmad told us to go on, to challenge ourselves, dey, somehow his words are sooo powerful i just thought i should give it a go man! so i went anyway, and i reached my target! :D

oh oh, before rock climbing, we kayaked from camp site 1 to camp site 2. and then ahmad told us to stop in the middle of the sea and we had to "play" some games. first two rounds, we passed. then the third round, we all had to stand up! and then when JON stood up, EVERYONE CAPSIZED !! except for two kayaks who remained still. so simin and i had to struggle to swim and wait for suz & deying to rescue us ! suz said i'm like a fish swimming here and there, LOL!
at night, we had to walk through the jungles with our heavy heavy bagpacks to our sleeping site and ohgod, it was soooo freaky :X but our sleep was nice.

ohyeah, i shared tent w suz and shahidah :D

WEDNESDAY - we had to change in our tents as there were NO TOILET anywhere near us D: suz even PEED in the forest and i swear she's so frekaing proud of it please! she went around telling people : "hey, guess what, i peed in the bushes when i heard the lizrd TSKTSKTSK and i pull up my pants and ran off! " hahaha!

anyway, we had our land expediture today, it was damn tiring! we had to carry our heavy bagpacks ( once again ). it's a damn long journey, few ten over kilometres? our shoulders were aching by the end of the walk. we had to send shahidah back to camp site 1 as she had to go home for some family problems.

then we went back to camp site 2 to start our expediture. i thought it was kinda okay for the first few hours. but like .. 4pm, i had to carry the tent ( bag ) as the guys are kinda tired and when jon offered to carry it for me, i didn't allow cause like, he's already carrying one in his bag. so, roar. my hands were aching when we reached back to camp site 2. we put our stuffs down and ahmad told us to stand in a circle then massaged each other's shoulder!

jon was behind me, so he massaged my shoulder. like, WOSH! song man! he's a basketballer and wahhhhhh! damn shiok please :X

THURSDAY - SHAHIDAH CAME BACK TO US :D
it's sea expediture. we had to kayak around camp site 1 and 2 and some swamps ( and we actually had to step into the swamp to move our kayaks please, damn damn muddy! ) . aiyah, it's also freaking long journey man. i paired up with jon, the clumsy ducky who made us capsized on tues, so everyone's like saying : " wah mel, you pair w jon ah? good luck ah. " LOL!

but jon proved them wrong, like, we didn't capsize, but he freaking kept rocking the kayak cause he know i'm damn scared to capsize and he kept making me scream!! :P
i kept resting, and jon kept paddling. hees, i feel so bad lah. but no choice, my arms are WEAKKKKK :X we left sea at 7.30am and we arrived at camp 1 at like 2.30pm! ( that's like 7 hours! ) gosh, our arms were sooo aching and our butts were so numb due to sitting in the kayak for soo long! and yayyness! we're the first team to reach camp 1 :D we're so proud of it!

we had a really good bath! wosh! SIBEH SONG SIA! then we cleared our store (:

FRIDAY - woke up at 5am AS USUAL. supposed to meet at 5.55am but we all ( 4 grps ) were late for 40 mins. we ended up doing like 120 jumping jacks as ... idk how to say also. just, super tiring again ._.
we did warm ups, then we had briefings and off we went to have our breakfast. D: the last breakfast at OBS .. cleared our stores and stuffs, ahmad came to check and then we took our own personal bags ( which was soo much lighter ) and we bade goodbye to our store .. D:

ahmad gathered us into a circle and we had to play this game - sitting on each others' lap ( half squat ) and then sing finish a song before he let us sit down! man! our legs were .. soooo wobbly please :X then we got our group photos and all.
went to hall, ahmad gave each and everyone of us a diff. cert to pass to the person his/her cert. and woah, i'm soo "lucky" i got jon's cert. LOL! when i went to him, he was like : " wah! really you ah? " LOL ._. JON TAN, YOU'RE SO LUCKY I GOT UR CERT. teehee!
last breifing and we're off to singapore D:
bought the obs's shirts :D and then the bus came and fetch us back to school, then we had another briefing ._.

suz and i went compass to meet roy ( and 2 other CVSS'S ), khairi and jon. went KFC to eat our lunch. ohgod, kfc never tasted soo good to me :X left after an hour plus. damn sad lah. i'm missing my team mates now D:

when we're over at ubin, we can't wait to get back to singapore. we miss our bed, our family, friends. but now that we're back, i miss ubin, i miss camping, i miss tents, i miss ahmad, i miss barak and artish, i miss so them soo much! esp suisen-ers D:
we're planning to go to sentosa on .. wed? and they wanna steal my sunblock lotion cause like when i'm at ubin and we were out in the sun, i put many layers of sunblock lotion and i didn't really get any burnt on my hand :X ( BUT JO SAY MY FACE BECOME A BIT DARK DDD: )
anyway, they're so bad! but they're so missed by me man! :D

it's good to be away from comfort zones at times. we get to know more people from diff. schools. we get to know each other better. from enemy, we can become friends. and from friends, we can confide in one another. i've never enjoyed a camp so much like this, and i hope we can keep in contact guys. ILOVEYOUGUYS :D
